A big rustic earthy wine with the warmth of the south. Hugely attractive wine with ripe black fruits, spiced with cinnamon and a lovely finish. Forthright dark cassis and plum fruits, overlaid with liquorice and vanilla. A mature wine, rich and robust with a pleasant flavoursome finish.

Food Matching:

Cahors are normally very robust wines matching full flavored red meat, roasted or in brown sauce. However, since this cahors is much more supple, it will be also in good company with more subtle meats such
as poultry in brown sauce or creamy sauce.
